Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, TX. As a Registered Nurse in our PICU, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Assist with patient education and support families in understanding their child's condition and treatment plan.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- BLS Provider certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a pediatric setting.
- Pediatric ICU experience.
- BSN degree.
