Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Santa Cruz, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide medically prescribed speech language pathology services to restore function and prevent disability following injury or loss of a body part.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medically prescribed speech language pathology services to patients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records pertinent to patient treatment
  • Educate patients, other health professionals, and family regarding speech therapy on an ongoing basis
  • Observe and evaluate patient responses during treatment, document and report findings accordingly
  • Follow hospital safety rules and procedures
Requirements:
  • One to three years' experience as an SLP preferred
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
  • PC skills

Fusion Medical Staffing - Therapy Job ID Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
