Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a Long Term Acute Care facility in Detroit, Michigan.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This is a 13-week contract position with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements:
  • Active Respiratory Therapist licensure/certification in Michigan
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Prior experience in an LTAC is preferred
