Preston Hunter Inc is seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated testing strategies to ensure the highest quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand solution requirements, architecture, and technical designs to define the necessary scope of automated testing.
• Develop and modify test scenarios and test scripts to ensure accurate and efficient testing.
• Perform manual and automated system, regression, and functional testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.
• Manage testing effort and defects through the defect lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
• Develop and promote quality testing practices, ensuring that testing is completed to agreed standards and that business and operational acceptance criteria are met.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in software system and application testing.
• 5+ years of experience with software Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) practices, including common test design techniques.
• 3+ years of managing and coordinating system and application testing.
• Minimum of 2 years with Qtest.
• Demonstrable experience of creating quality assurance artifacts, including test plans, test scripts, and test reporting.
• Experience using PL/SQL for data validation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Superior computer skills, including common business applications such as MS Windows and MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TOSCA and Selenium test automation tools.
• Experience with general software development life cycle practices.
• Oracle RDBMS, including competency with PL/SQL and a general familiarity with relational database analysis and design.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
