Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on transit vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with transit vehicles and related equipment.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless vehicle maintenance and repair operations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; ASE certification preferred.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in heavy-duty transit equipment maintenance.
  • Commercial driving license with passenger and airbrake endorsements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of $25.00 to $30.00 depending on experience.
  • Up to $4,000 sign-on bonus.
