Role Overview:

This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging Project Accounting professional to become part of a vibrant construction project team in Downtown Boston. Collaborate with Arcadis's on-site Project Management Team to ensure the accurate completion of financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrated experience in a construction project setting, focusing on project accounting tasks such as invoicing, change order evaluations, labor rate development, and project close-outs. Proficient in managing and completing associated project documentation, including MBE/WBE, DCCAMM Reports, Waivers, and Internal Cost Sheets, among others. Contribute to the financial planning of the support function by generating reports and insights to aid in the management and oversight of departmental budgets. Dedicated to addressing daily project accounting challenges, ensuring a high-quality and efficient service is provided to both internal and external stakeholders. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities within a deadline-driven project environment. Ability to collaborate effectively with various professional teams, both within and outside the organization. Familiarity with construction project methodologies and processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Project Controller or Project Accountant within the construction sector. Proficient in software applications such as Excel, MS Office, and PM Webb (preferred). Understanding of contracting terminology and processes. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, as this role involves client interaction. Detail-oriented with a solid background in project administration. Commitment to Health & Safety standards.
