Nurse Epidemiologist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Infection Preventionist-Epidemiology. This full-time position at Broward Health Medical Center requires expertise in infection prevention and control, with a focus on identifying and mitigating potential and actual infections.

This role is responsible for supporting regional infection prevention efforts, utilizing electronic systems and the electronic health record to identify potential and actual infections. The successful candidate will work to determine patterns and causes of hospital-acquired infections and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school
• One year of related experience in a healthcare setting
• Registered Nurse license required; Certified Infection Control preferred or obtainable within 2-3 years of employment

Broward Health offers a competitive salary range estimated to be between $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
