Job Summary

At Earl Enterprises, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Utility to join our team. As a Dishwasher/Utility, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dish area.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen and service wares, ensuring they are free from food residue and bacteria. • Set up, maintain, clean, and organize the dish area, including the dish machine, utensils, and storage areas. • Operate the dish machine in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to health code and sanitation standards. • Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen, including the floors, walls, and equipment. • Maintain the proper levels for temperature and chemicals in the dish machine to ensure health code and sanitation standards are being met. • Empty trash from the dish room and place it in the dumpster, and maintain the dumpster area. • Clean, stock, and maintain the dish area throughout the shift, ensuring it remains organized and clutter-free. • Maintain all walkways inside and outside the restaurant, ensuring they are clear of obstacles and hazards. • Follow all safety and sanitation policies, including proper handwashing and glove usage.

Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent is preferred, but not required. • Previous experience as a dishwasher or similar job is preferred but not necessary. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Will be required to use all sensory capabilities such as: vision, hearing, tasting, smelling, touching, and speaking.
