About the Role

SolomonEdwards is seeking a skilled Home Loan Specialist to join its team. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of loan findings and facilitating efficient processes that support business and customer service objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine data entry and validation tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Initiate third-party orders, including title, appraisal, hazard, flood certification, credit, and other necessary documents.
  • Review and validate loan documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Handle routine calls, emails, and chat responses in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor work queues and intervene as needed to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned to support the team's goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in the mortgage industry, with a strong understanding of financial services and regulations.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience, with a focus on finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong understanding of Excel, Word, and other productivity tools.
  • Financial services and mortgage industry experience preferred, but not required.
  • General understanding of applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations.
