About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Associate to join our team at The GIANT Company. As a Meat Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality meat products and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process meat deliveries, including breaking down loads and rotating stock
  • Weigh, price, and label meat products
  • Stock and maintain meat cases, including selecting and preparing products for display
  • Prepare valued-added products, such as cuts and special orders
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and making product recommendations
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management, including processing cuts for the service counter and setting service cases
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job
  • Must be able to work in a cold environment
Physical Requirements
  • Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needs
  • Job cycles: continual maximum
