Overview:

The primary duties of the Retail Sales Associate encompass:

  1. Welcoming, engaging, and assisting customers throughout the store.
  2. Providing timely and courteous support to customers and donors by addressing inquiries or guiding them to a supervisor.
  3. Operating a cash register to process sales transactions, accept payments, and provide accurate change.
  4. Receiving and preparing donations for display on the sales floor, which includes tagging items, restocking shelves, and organizing clothing.
  5. Ensuring a clean, safe, and inviting shopping environment, which involves general housekeeping and organizing merchandise.

Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will have:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in retail.
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • Physical stamina for prolonged standing and walking, along with frequent bending, stooping, and stretching.
  • The capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • A friendly, approachable demeanor, and reliability.

Additional Information:

This is a part-time role, offering up to 28 hours per week.

The selected candidate must successfully pass required background checks.
