Job SummaryWe're seeking an experienced Critical Care Technician to join our swing shift team, working Wed-Sat. You'll be the right-hand support to our veterinarians, providing exceptional care and comfort for our clients' beloved pets.
You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, dedicated to enhancing lives through superior pet care. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Performing nursing care for critical cases, consistently evaluating patient needs
- Calculating CRI's and providing advanced hospitalization care
- Performing in-house laboratories and proficient IV catheter placement
- Providing accurate and detailed patient rounds and safe restraint for fractious patients
- Obtaining TPR's, keeping medical records, and understanding when to alert DVM
- Advocating for the patient and client
We're looking for a candidate with:
- High school diploma
- 2+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients
- An active CA state RVT license (preferred but not required)
