Job Summary

Covenant Health Inc. is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Medical Unit team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and support to our patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on care and assistance to patients, including taking vital signs, recording measurements, and performing technical tasks as assigned.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, and provide emotional support and comfort.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the registered nurse or other healthcare team members.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including handling and disposing of medical waste, and restocking supplies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Tennessee CNA certification
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
