Position Overview:
The Financial Insights Analyst will act as a bridge between Technology, Finance, and Business units to enable effective data transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in financial planning and analysis activities related to pricing, profitability, cash flow management, liquidity risk, and interest rate risk.
  • Develop and refine product-level pricing and profitability assessments.
  • Create predictive models and machine-learning algorithms utilizing Scikit-learn and TensorFlow to address inquiries related to credit risk, profitability, and pricing.
  • Examine extensive datasets to identify trends and patterns.
  • Establish metrics to evaluate performance, usage, and profitability.
  • Write SQL queries to organize data essential for machine learning applications.
  • Validate data prepared for analysis by other Business Intelligence developers.
  • Complete assigned training within designated timeframes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • Coursework or specialization in finance, data science, or machine learning is highly desirable.
  • Relevant internship or project experience in finance, focusing on financial analysis and applying machine learning techniques.
  • Experience in data analysis, machine learning, or data science.
  • Strong proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.
  • Programming skills in Python, R, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and Pandas are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools like Power BI is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
