The Recreation Division is responsible for creating a better tomorrow by enriching the quality of life for our community and visitors through various recreation programs, facilities, and services.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recreation Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of various programs, supervising staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of assigned facilities and related grounds
  • Supervise staff, including prioritizing and assigning work, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring staff are trained
  • Monitor and inspect facilities, including scheduling facility reservations and establishing and monitoring facility maintenance schedules
  • Assist with budget preparation and administration, including preparing cost estimates and submitting justifications for budget items
  • Prepare a variety of operational records and reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management or related field
  • 1 year recreation or related experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Knowledge of supervisory principles, recreational program planning principles and practices, and basic budgeting principles
  • Skill in monitoring and evaluating employees, prioritizing and assigning work, and providing customer service
