Empowered Pilates is a dynamic and growing Pilates franchise with a strong commitment to providing high-quality fitness services to our clients. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pilates instructor to join our team as a Lead Instructor.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a confident and energetic certified Pilates instructor to promote to Lead Instructor at Empowered Pilates. The ideal candidate will be positive and enthusiastic, with a passion for Pilates and a desire to help others improve their lives through health and fitness.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Empowered Pilates standards for the Empowered Pilates Group
  • Provide a safe and effective workout for up to 12 members per class, using a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, Bosu Ball, Magic Circle, etc.
  • Prepare creative class flows that are challenging and level appropriate
  • Uphold our core values to ensure a positive studio culture that is inclusive and encouraging
  • Conduct private sessions, semi-private sessions, workshops, private events, and other additional sessions as needed
  • Inspect the equipment prior to each class to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workout environment
  • Assist with membership sales and checking clients in
  • Participate in special events as needed to promote the studio
  • Build studio revenue by promoting retail, membership sales, events, and services by delivering the "Message of the Week" after every class
  • Be a motivating and inspiring force to promote our motto: Do Pilates. Do Life.

Requirements:

  • Maintain "Full Time" Instructor status (average of 50 hours per month)
  • Work at least 1 weekend block per month
  • Have the capacity for 2-5 hours of admin work per week
  • Provide Instructional Coaching and Support
  • Manage PT Schedule
  • Main Point of Contact for Instructors
  • Manage Sub Requests
  • Provide and Gather Feedback on the Schedule
  • Perform Quarterly Instructor Audits
  • Complete the Weekly/Monthly Equipment Safety Checklist
