Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work on challenging projects that directly impact our clients while collaborating with experienced leaders in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare federal, state & local income tax returns, federal and state tax estimates, extensions, and forecasting.
  • Utilize advanced corporate tax knowledge and understanding to support the tax compliance and tax provision process.
  • Review and prepare complex corporate federal and state tax returns.
  • Demonstrate understanding of ASC 740 and ability to prepare income tax accrual calculations.
  • Audit quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions prepared by staff.
  • Demonstrate understanding of tax return filing requirements for foreign operations.
  • Conduct federal and state tax research and draft/review memorandums to support tax return filing positions and special projects to minimize tax expense.
  • Remain current on developments and changes in tax law and accounting procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • 2+ years of progressive corporate income tax preparation and experience working in either a corporate tax department or professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of corporate tax preparation within a corporate tax department or professional services environment.
  • Working knowledge of online tax research tools (CCH, RIA, BNA).
  • Demonstrate leadership and the ability to effectively problem-solve.
  • Excellent advisory and compliance skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to articulate complex information.
