Key Responsibilities- Design and Implementation: Architect, design, and implement scalable, object-oriented software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
- Software Development: Develop software using a variety of programming languages and technologies.
- Requirements Analysis: Perform software requirements analysis to ensure that solutions meet the needs of our clients.
- Software Design: Develop software designs that are scalable, maintainable, and meet the needs of our clients.
- Code Development: Develop code to implement software designs and ensure that solutions meet the needs of our clients.
- Testing and Debugging: Develop and design frameworks for unit and functional tests on the software, debug software issues discovered throughout multiple testing phases, and ensure that CI/CD principles are followed throughout the project.
- Cybersecurity Engineering: Perform cyber software engineering and development duties to ensure that the software product is maintained in accordance with all accreditation and configuration control requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) preferably in the area of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university (Relevant cyber technical certificates will be considered).
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience, with significant experience and familiarity operating in a Linux environment, including Bash scripting, and experience with automotive/military embedded systems and board support, including Linux device drivers, bootloaders, or other system programming.
- Skills: Familiarity with agile software development and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo), and experience with a variety of programming languages, including C#, Java, C++, Rust, or Ada.
