Key Responsibilities- Operate a forklift to load and unload materials, products, and equipment in a timely and safe manner.
- Interpret customer orders and instructions to ensure accurate and timely shipment of materials.
- Record shipping data and other results in accordance with company requirements.
- Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Adhere to all safety and housekeeping requirements in a plant warehouse setting.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to interpret verbal instructions and written documents, such as customer orders.
- Ability to apply basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Proficiency in accurately recording shipping data.
- Basic maintenance skills to help service equipment.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills to work with all co-workers.
