Occupational Therapist Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Avante at Lake Worth, a Skilled Nursing Facility. As a vital member of our long-term care professionals, you will provide Occupational Therapy services to residents, assisting in the assessment, treatment, and program planning.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Occupational Therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Assist in the evaluation process in areas such as self-care, homemaking, functional mobility, and coordination.
  • Conduct individual and group treatment as assigned by the Occupational Therapist and outlined in the treatment plan.
  • Maintain acceptable resident care ratios as determined by the Occupational Therapist.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Successful completion of the National Certification for O.T.A.
  • Current state licensure or license eligible.
  • 0-3 years of long-term care experience.
