About the Role

Emory University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cheer/Dance Coach to join our team at Oxford College. As a key member of the Center for Healthful Living, this individual will be responsible for leading our cheerleading and dance teams, as well as teaching physical education classes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training programs for the cheerleading and dance teams
  • Choreograph routines and ensure athlete safety
  • Lead practices, games, and other team activities
  • Manage fundraising efforts and promote team visibility on campus and in the community
  • Teach physical education classes and develop curriculum
  • Comply with all relevant policies and regulations

Requirements

  • Master's degree preferred, bachelor's degree required
  • Experience in competitive cheerleading or dance programming at the high school or collegiate level
  • Prior teaching experience, preferably at the college level
