Job Title: Clinical Director for Medical/Surgical and Oncology Unit

We are seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Director to lead our Medical/Surgical and Oncology Unit at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ.

About the Role:

The Clinical Director will provide nursing care oversight in the health care system, ensuring awareness of ethical standards of practice and regulatory standards. They will assure safety in practice, maintain a realization of their individual level of knowledge and experience, and advance knowledge of self and others of the patient care team.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members
  • Collaborate with other patient care providers
  • Consistently set and evaluate priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement
  • Integrate all aspects of the provision of care and individualize the plan of care to address a specific patient's needs
Requirements:
  • ASN or Nursing Diploma
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Preferred: Medical/Surgical nursing experience and Oncology nursing experience
