Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Utilities Technician to join our team. As a Utilities Technician, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining plant air compressors, chillers, fire tube boilers, clarifier, fire suppression system, RO system, and HVAC related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow directives regarding daily tasks and long-term projects.
  • Use mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical aptitude to repair a variety of utilities equipment.
  • Address underlying root cause of equipment defects to restore equipment functionality.
  • Document and track all work, labor, and parts usage through CMMS system.
  • Ensure compliance with local jurisdictional authorities as it relates to reporting and operating requirements of site utility systems.
  • Adhere to and assist Operators, Technicians, Management, and Engineering in following utility equipment PM schedules and critical maintenance.
  • Interpret and follow basic, intermediate, and complex blueprints and schematics.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and overhauls of utility equipment sub-components.

Work Environment:

The employee works in the office of a manufacturing plant environment with normal exposure to noise, dust, and hazards associated with working in a high traffic, heavy machinery, manufacturing plant.
