This role will involve working within Amazon's vast and complex data warehouse environment, generating actionable recommendations to inform business and pricing strategy, and improve customer experience and bottom-line performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deep Dive Analysis: Develop a profound understanding of our customers and supply chain, leveraging SQL, Excel, and other data management systems to answer key business questions.
- Data-Driven Insights: Systematically identify data sources, perform analysis, and build data pipelines to influence product roadmaps and business strategy.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate complex insights to stakeholders, both verbally and through visualization and dashboards, ensuring seamless collaboration across product, research science, engineering, sales, finance, and more.
- Pricing Optimization: Perform complex data research to identify opportunities to optimize pricing, thereby driving business growth and profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: Required.
- 5+ Years of Experience: Tax, finance, or related analytical field experience required.
- SQL and Business Intelligence: 3+ years of experience writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports.
- Additional Qualifications: MBA, experience defining requirements, and using data and metrics to draw business insights.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
