About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Trilogy Health Services. In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by safely preparing, administering, and documenting all medications used in our health campus.

Responsibilities
  • Safely prepare, administer, and document all medications used in the health campus
  • Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations
  • Verify medications brought into the health campus by newly admitted residents with the attending physician or facility pharmacy/pharmacist
  • Follow health campus policies and procedures for destroying medications
  • Participate in daily nursing report and electronic documentation
  • Assist residents with daily needs such as personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, lifting, and transporting when needed
  • Observe and report changes in residents' condition, making independent decisions when warranted
Requirements
  • Active and in good-standing Nurse Aide certification
  • Active and in good-standing Medication Aide certification (QMA, KMA MA-C)
  • Every other weekend and holiday work availability
  • At least one year's experience as a Certified Medication Aide preferred
  • At least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
