Job Title: Ophthalmic Photographer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Photographer to join our team at Retina Consultants of Texas. As an Ophthalmic Photographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to support the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform fundus, anterior segment, and external photography as ordered by eye care providers.
  • Conduct intravenous fluorescein angiographies and/or indocyanine green angiographies as needed.
  • Operate scanning computerized ophthalmic diagnostic imaging equipment, such as OCT and HRT.
  • Process film, mount and label slides, and maintain film logs and digital databases.
  • Maintain camera equipment, related supplies, and patient records.
  • Support physician presentations by obtaining images as necessary.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in ophthalmic photography and digital imaging.
  • CRA and JCAHPO certification preferred.
  • CPR certification required.

Working Conditions:

This position requires normal vision to perform tasks involved with photographing images and developing slides and film. You will work in a small space with dim or dark lighting.
