We are seeking a skilled Hospice Nurse to join our team at ViaQuest. As a Hospice Nurse, you will be responsible for providing holistic care to patients and their families, taking a comprehensive approach to address their physical, emotional, and mental needs.
Responsibilities:- Patient Care: Provide emotional and physical support to patients and their families, conducting assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating phases of the nursing process.
- Medication Administration: Administer and instruct the administration of medication as prescribed by physicians.
- Care Coordination: Initiate communication with physicians, other hospice team members, and other agencies to coordinate patient care.
- Record Keeping: Maintain current patient records and progress notes.
- Nursing Education: Minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: RN license.
- Experience: Nursing experience preferably within Hospice specialty.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Comprehensive Training: Receive training on patient visits, Brightree, and Elsevier.
- Benefit Package: Medical, vision, dental, disability, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
- Paid Time Off: Enjoy flexible scheduling and mileage reimbursement.
