The Night Auditor is a key member of the hotel team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and providing exceptional guest service. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Transactions: Prepare and process all night audit checklist work and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Guest Service: Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
- Front Office Functions: Handle check-ins and check-outs, manage room reservations, and maintain accurate records of guest stays.
- Cash Handling: Ensure correct and accurate cash handling, balancing daily reports, and identifying and correcting any errors.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and provide excellent guest experiences.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous hospitality experience preferred, with knowledge of accounting principles and cash handling procedures.
- Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently, and strong attention to detail.
- Language: Fluency in English required.
This position will be located at a hotel and primarily work behind a desk and in public spaces. The physical demands of this role include standing for long periods, using a computer, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
