We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Specialties Unit at Boone Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.
Responsibilities- Educate patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post-treatment home care needs and medication administration.
- Use critical thinking skills to assess and evaluate patient's physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement individual plans of care in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team in accordance with the established guidelines and standards of nursing care.
- Promote patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.
- Evaluate patient's response and modify plan of care accordingly throughout the patient's stay.
- Participate in activities that promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in professional development and lifelong learning.
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing
- No Experience Required
- RN License
- Sign-on Bonus Eligible
- 24 Hours per Week
- Two Schedules Available
- Weekend Rotation as Required by Department
- Weekend Option Available with Premium Pay Eligibility
