KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Travel to various locations to conduct repairs, installations, and maintenance of fitness equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Diagnose equipment issues, evaluate the severity of problems, and determine appropriate repair actions, including part replacements or product recommendations.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to clients on product operations and applications.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of parts, keeping accurate records of usage and notifying the Operations Manager when restocking is necessary.
  • Document extensive service records, including equipment details (model and serial numbers) and daily travel logs.
  • Offer technical support to junior technicians when complex equipment issues arise.
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining equipment at regional trade shows and demonstrations.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills, ensuring customer satisfaction by minimizing response times and maintaining open communication regarding service delays and parts availability. A respectful, knowledgeable, and positive demeanor is essential for success in this role.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare fitness equipment for delivery and installation, including refurbishing and remanufacturing.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Starting at $26.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Electronics Technician Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
  • Up to one year of professional experience as a Field Service Technician or Warehouse Service Technician.
  • Proficient in electro-mechanical troubleshooting, testing, calibrating, and repairing electronic and mechanical components.
  • Ability to analyze and diagnose complex equipment issues promptly.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including email and word processing.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry over 100 lbs.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with a strong 'can-do' attitude.
  • Must reside in New Jersey.
