Registered School Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered School Nurse to join our team at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a Registered School Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to students in our school setting.
Responsibilities- Assess, implement, and evaluate student care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Monitor and record patient condition, communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Oversee student care while at school, delegating tasks to unlicensed personnel within the scope of their license.
- Participate in the surveillance and prevention of communicable diseases, adhering to reporting guidelines.
- Educate students, family members, and faculty on health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
