Job Title: Procurement Analyst, Packaging

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Analyst to join our team at Shearer's Foods. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic sourcing support and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement improved strategic sourcing strategies to optimize costs and access new suppliers.
  • Collect and evaluate information about potential suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Provide supply market and sourcing advice and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Administer performance metrics such as delivery time and price variance to ensure supplier accountability.
  • Support purchasing/sourcing management in activities such as price benchmarking, vendor management, process analysis, market and industry research, and model building.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 1-3 years of procurement experience, preferably in packaging.
  • Strong analytical and Microsoft Office software skills.
  • Excellent communication skills: written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in buying and selling.
