The International Institute of New England is seeking a highly skilled Admissions Specialist to join our Education team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for the recruitment and enrollment processes for new students, as well as the administration of required language assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit and enroll new students in work readiness focused ESOL classes
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to monitor student enrollment, retention, and attrition trends
- Conduct on-site recruitment activities at family shelters, including scheduling, enrollment processes, and language assessments
- Maintain accurate student files and lead trackers using multiple databases
- Attend professional development workshops with adult educators
- BA in Education or related field required
- Minimum one year of experience in program administration or direct service with adult immigrant students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software platforms
- Bilingual and bicultural experience a plus
