Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Community Veterinary Partners. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and efficient service to clients and their pets, ensuring a positive experience at every interaction.
  • Obtain relevant information and history from clients, maintaining accurate and complete medical charts.
  • Ensure the safety of pets, clients, and associates by utilizing safe restraining techniques and adhering to established protocols.
  • Utilize computer skills and medical software confidently, as well as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, to manage tasks and communicate effectively.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating a proactive and can-do attitude.
  • Exhibit honesty, discretion, and integrity in all interactions with clients and team members.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives, sharing important information with doctors and other team members as needed.
  • Remain confident and composed in the presence of pets and clients, with the ability to work long hours and be on your feet for extended periods.
  • Tolerate stress and perform duties efficiently, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds, as required.
  • Work in an environment where exposure to pets that may bite or scratch, radiation, anesthesia, biological hazards, and controlled substance medication is possible.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
