Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at St. Luke's Health System. As a NICU RN, you will provide exceptional care to critically ill newborns and their families, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with neonatologists, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho
- Experience in neonatal intensive care, preferably in a level 4 NICU
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
