Job Summary:
Leading Technology Composites seeks a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support the transition of research and development projects to production. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing production processes, providing engineering drawing and modeling support, creating work instructions, and ensuring the efficient operation of production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist R&D Engineers in transitioning projects to production
Disposition nonconforming items
Program waterjets and material cutting equipment
Optimize part yields through material nesting
Analyze and interpret technical specifications and drawings/models
Utilize production and quality data to identify and resolve manufacturing issues
Manage active project list of medium to long-term Continuous Improvement projects
Provide engineering support to all production departments
Assist with ballistic testing as needed

Qualifications and Skills:
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Self-starter and problem-solver with ability to adapt to changing priorities
Analytical mindset with a willingness to learn
Mechanical aptitude with hands-on fabrication experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Material Science, or related field) or equivalent experience (3-5 years)
Manufacturing knowledge and experience with composites preferred
Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and/or similar CAD software preferred
Experience working in R&D and production environments preferred
