Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our dental hygiene department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.
Responsibilities
* Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings, and x-rays
* Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene and provide instructions and demonstrations of effective oral hygiene methods
* Communicate with the doctor regarding patient needs for restorative and/or periodontal care
* Obtain and review patient dental history and records, ensuring health history is updated for returning patients
Requirements
* Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
* X-Ray/Radiology Certification where state regulations specify
* Local Anesthesia/Nitrous Oxide certification where state regulations specify
