About the Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of the healthcare team at Bon Secours, providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families. As an LPN, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and promote a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to meet patient/family needs
  • Implement the plan of care by providing direct basic nursing care in accordance with the LPN scope of practice
  • Appropriately label and package specimens, as trained
  • Assist in providing indirect care through various clerical or administrative duties as assigned by the registered nurse
  • Act as a chaperone for healthcare providers during patient examination as requested
  • Assist provider with procedures, treatments, and interventions
Requirements
  • Active state Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure or LPN applicant
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
  • One year of clinical patient care experience (preferred, not required)
