About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Maine Medical Center. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for performing Vascular and Neuro Interventional procedures, as well as supervising daily work in IR.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Vascular and Neuro Interventional procedures with a high level of proficiency.
  • Supervise daily work in IR, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Assist the manager with day-to-day running of the department, including assigned projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain multiple highly detailed process documents.
  • Function in an administrative role in the absence of the IR Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum five years of experience working as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in an acute care hospital, preferably a large academic medical center.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all IR Vascular and Neuro procedures, techniques, equipment, and supplies used.
  • High level of interpersonal skills necessary to direct the work of others, maintain effective working relationships, and provide effective leadership.
  • Ability to function in an administrative role and develop highly detailed process documents.
