Barista, Part-time

Job Summary:

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused team member to join our team as a Barista at Hiram College. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and provide a positive experience.
• Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, cappuccinos, espresso, lattes, teas, and fruit-blended drinks.
• Food Preparation: Assemble, combine, and cook ingredients according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Inventory Management: Store leftovers according to established standards and maintain accurate inventory levels.

Requirements:

• Experience: Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, basic mathematical skills, and a strong working knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and safety and sanitation practices.
• Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain a high level of energy and productivity.
