  • Assist the store manager in preparing the weekly staff schedule.
  • Take charge of store operations in the absence of the store manager, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Invest in the growth and success of team members through comprehensive training, coaching, and mentoring, while supporting the store manager in necessary disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including team members, store managers, and district managers.

Qualifications
  • Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to engaging with people daily.
  • Familiarity with the grocery industry; 1-2 years of experience is preferred.
  • Meticulous attention to detail across all store departments.
  • Capability to manage the store's financial resources effectively.
  • Understanding of state and federal labor regulations.
  • Ability to delegate tasks efficiently.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment throughout the store.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening is required.
  • A valid driver's license with only minor infractions is necessary.
