Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide evidence-based evaluation and therapy techniques for children with communication and/or oral-motor/feeding disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for children with speech and language disorders
- Provide direct therapy services to children, including articulation, language, voice, fluency, and oral-motor interventions
- Collaborate with families, other therapists, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes
- Participate in training and education of students and pre-service professionals, as well as community outreach and education
- Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Arkansas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain licensure within 1 month of hire
