About the Role

As a Dietary Aide at Genacross Lutheran Services, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality food and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of meals, including food preparation, plating, and presentation.
  • Ensure that all food is served in a timely and efficient manner, meeting the dietary needs of our residents.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the dining room and kitchen areas.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking of food and supplies.
  • Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure that all meals are prepared and served according to our established policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience in a food service or dietary setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
