Key Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused respiratory care, aligning with departmental requirements and professional standards. As an integral member of the healthcare team, the Respiratory Therapist will:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including evaluating breath sounds and airway integrity.
  • Administer various respiratory therapies, such as oxygen delivery and aerosol treatments.
  • Assist in the placement of artificial airways and manage mechanical ventilation.
  • Monitor patient responses to therapies and communicate with providers as necessary.
  • Support the transport of patients requiring ventilatory assistance.
  • Act promptly in emergency situations to maintain airway and ventilation.
Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Licensed Respiratory Therapist.
  • Completion of a Certificate or Associate Degree program.
  • Certification as a Licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist (LCRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

No travel is required for this position.
