Physician Assistant

As a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner in our Float Pool, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care to our members. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain a pertinent medical history, perform a physical examination, and review relevant laboratory or radiologic studies to assess the patient's medical, physical, psychological, and socio-economic status.
- Formulate an accurate and appropriate diagnosis based on elicited data, and include differential diagnoses as appropriate.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that are aligned with the practice preferences of the Collaborating/Supervising Physician(s), including orders for medication and/or other treatment modalities, the need for additional testing, consultation to other providers, and follow-up provisions.
- Provide care with attention to safety, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Plan are appropriately prioritized and adapted to the patient and circumstance.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Nursing or Bachelors Degree in a related field.
- Graduation from an accredited graduate nursing program or a program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
- Physician Assistant License (Colorado) or Advanced Practice Nurse Registration (Colorado).
- National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Drug Enforcement Administration Registration.
- Basic Life Support within 3 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year full scope of general practice experience minimum.
