Job Summary:

The Certified Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse position plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team at Mile Bluff Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist providers with patient care, including reviewing medical history, taking vital signs, and preparing patients for exams and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain patient charts, abstracting and entering orders, and keeping accurate records.
  • Assist with ordering lab services, home health, and physical therapy, as well as preparing patients for surgery and post-operative care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including making copies, updating forms, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant certification required - OR - LPN license required.
  • Current BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire.
  • Must maintain a valid, current driver's license.
  • 1+ years of related work experience required.
