Role Overview:
This position presents an outstanding opportunity for an LPN, RN, or Certified Medical Assistant to serve as an Allergy Care Specialist. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing a high volume of patient interactions while demonstrating a willingness to learn about the Allergy, ENT, and Audiology fields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with patients for 20-60 minutes
- Adhere to established allergy protocols
- Educate patients regarding allergy assessments and treatments
- Respond to patient inquiries
- Document patient medical histories
- Administer injections
- Conduct allergy skin testing
- Secure necessary authorizations
- Prepare examination rooms
- Implement sterilization practices in line with CDC guidelines and relevant manufacturer requirements
Qualifications:
- Licensure/Certification: Active LPN, RN, or Certified Medical Assistant
- Minimum of two years of hands-on clinical experience
- Willingness to travel between various locations as required
- Proficient understanding of medical terminology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
- Professional demeanor towards patients, physicians, and team members
- Computer literacy for Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Bilingual Spanish skills are advantageous
- Previous experience in allergy care is a plus

Physical Requirements:

The candidate must also be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
