Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology to join our team at Auburn University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research in their area of expertise, and pursuing extramural funding.

Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in speech-language pathology
  • Conduct research in area of expertise, with potential for establishing a program of research, publication, and extramural grant generation
  • Direct undergraduate and graduate student research
  • Participate in departmental and university service
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Communication Disorders or closely allied area (1 year ABD considered as Instructor)
  • Ability to teach graduate and undergraduate courses
  • Potential for establishing a program of research, publication, and extramural grant generation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Evidence of promise in teaching
  • Evidence of research interests and abilities
  • Interest in pursuing external funding
  • CCC-SLP and potential for Alabama license
  • Prior record of peer-reviewed journal publication and grant experience
