Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the store, including inventory management, cash handling, and store appearance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, provide coaching and feedback, and ensure that team members are meeting their performance goals.
  • Merchandising: Ensure that product areas are stocked, rotated, and displayed to ensure freshness, appeal, and easy customer access.
  • Sales Controls: Ensure that all shift sales are completed in accordance with company policies, including entering and coaching store employees to enter all transactions at the correct price using the correct keys/codes.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent plus 6 months to 1 year of retail and management work experience preferred.
  • Skills: Knowledge of basic business and customer service principles, including planning and organizing, resource management, and leadership skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift, occasional lifting and/or carrying up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead, and exposure to extreme cold temperatures while performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer.
Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Perform approximately 95% of all work indoors, but will be required to clean parking lots, gas pumps, take out garbage, etc.

Exposure to extreme cold temperatures while performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer.

Exposure to occasional noise.

Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.
