We're seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to support our electronic records management system and software tools at the United States Marshals Service in Arlington, Virginia.

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the organization's electronic records management system, including tasks such as installing, configuring, and maintaining the system and associated tools, servers, and network devices; troubleshooting technical problems; and providing support to users.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security principles and practices and be able to implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's data.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain enterprise content management systems (ECM) such as OpenText ECM and Laserfiche.
  • Configure and maintain software tools such as Jira and GitLab.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and provide support to users.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's data.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations.
  • Work with vendors to install and configure hardware and software.
  • Document system configurations and procedures.
  • Stay up to date on the latest technologies and trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years related experience; Master's degree and 3+ years related experience. Additional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Must have Active DOD Secret Clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain DOJ Public Trust prior to starting.
  • Experience with Jira, GitHub, and other software tools.
  • Experience in configuration management and access configuration.
  • Knowledge of electronic records management systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must have a fully adjudicated secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with electronic records management systems.
  • Experience with OpenText ECM.
